Counterfeit goods

Yet again, there is an article on ‘You and yours’ on BBC Radio 4 this morning about counterfeit goods.  This time it is a case of people buying Ugg boots from a site that looks like an authentic site, which are then destroyed (australiauggboots.com was the culprit).

If the genuine Ugg site (uggautstralia.com) used Feefo, it could establish its authenticity.  All other sites would soon get negative feedback.   I cannot say this often enough – the presence of the Feefo logo on a site together with an authentic feedback percentage and a link to www.feefo.com is the most effective guarantee of both the authenticity and the commitment to customer satisfaction of the site.

I note that, if you enter ‘Ugg boots’ into Google, there are three sponsored entries above uggaustralia.com, which leads the natural listings.  All sites purporting to sell Ugg boots that are not uggaustralia.com are,  according to Ugg Australia on today’s progrqam, counterfeit.
